A winery that is rarely found in Moldova. With a picturesque and breathtaking view, many call this region “the little Tuscany of Moldova”.
The vineyards are spread over the hills of Maggia, in a unique region, suitable for producing exceptional wines. The Mircești winery also includes the white Brancovan-style villa that once belonged to a nobleman, but which since 2011 has been revived and revitalized and the first vine shoots have been planted.
Today the vineyard extends over 15 hectares and from 2020 the company will open the doors of its guesthouse with traditional cuisine. Located in the heart of Moldova, in the homonymous village of Mircesti, the winery is 25 kilometers from the city of Ungheni and 80 kilometers from Chisinau.
Also the traditional autochthonous varieties: Feteasca Neteasca, Rara Neagră, Feteasca Regale, Feteasca Albasca
The climatic conditions here are comparable to the wine-growing regions of southern Germany (the Rhine Valley) and northern Italy, and each variety is planted on the slope exactly suited to it. In addition to Pinot Noir, Saperavi, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, we cultivate with love and respect. Thanks to the diverse assortment of varieties, we produce both varietal and blended wines under the brands CRAMA MIRCEȘTI and BARDUL DIN MIRCEȘTI.
